Our nursery is set within 1 acre of grounds which has been designed to allow children a variety of experiences which includes:

Organic Gardens

An organic vegetable and flower garden to enable the children to grow their own vegetables and flowers to be used within the nursery. Here children will gain knowledge and experience of how things grow and develop an understanding of how to look after plants and flowers. Cooperative play will be encouraged within this area, which will help develop the children's social skills.

Play Areas

A covered play area is available for the children giving opportunity to experience out door play in all weathers. This will provide an outdoor classroom environment for the children enabling them to have creative, messy and constructive play outdoors.

A soft play area in which the children are able to build their confidence on the tractor and trailer climbing equipment.

Sensory Gardens

A sensory garden filled with flowers, herbs and items of interest including a water feature, bird table and mirrors. In here the children will be able to broaden their senses and explore nature and wildlife.

Exploration and Discovery

Our grassed area looks out onto the nursery paddock, home to the sheep and resident hens in which the children are able to visit to collect fresh farm eggs. Our grassed areas provide endless opportunities for group play, singing, role-play and den making.
